Mark your calendars for Homecoming 2016!

President Mark B. Rosenberg sent the following letter to the university community.

Dear Panther family,

Our FIU Homecoming is right around the corner!

In 50 days, our FIU will be transformed into a sea of blue and gold. Once again, we’ll call home our alumni – and welcome our community – for a week of rallies, concerts, parades and other exciting events that highlight our many traditions, accomplishments and student-athletes.

It’s the first week of the fall semester, but let’s keep the summer vibes alive! What better way to countdown to Homecoming than with a giant pool party with your entire Panther family? Please join us this afternoon from 2 – 6 p.m. on the housing quad for Splash 50! There will be a special guest DJ, as well as contests and giveaways. Don’t forget to bring your floats and sunscreen!

Want to get pumped for Homecoming 2016? Relive last year’s highlights with a photo album and video.

And if you haven’t done so already, mark your calendars for Homecoming Week 2016 which will run from October 16 – 22. There is a lot happening, but some special highlights include:
