FIU is welcoming hundreds of children to its football games through its Community Partners Kids Club program, which gives free game tickets to organizations that work with children.

This is the 14th year that Community Partners Kids Club provides eligible not-for-profit groups with complimentary tickets to all home football games, including the game against Maryland. More than 25,000 tickets have been issued through this program to youth organizations.

The FIU vs. University of Maryland football game will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at FIU Stadium at MMC, 11200 SW 8th St. in West Miami-Dade.

“This is an incredible opportunity to motivate aspiring Panthers to pursue their college dreams,” said FIU Director of Sports and Entertainment Pete Garcia. “FIU is committed to engaging our community by fostering a love for FIU and FIU sports.”

Interested groups and organizations should contact Liz Augustin, assistant athletic director, Student-Athlete Development and Community Relations, at 305-348-0154 or laugusti@fiu.edu for an admission form.
