Hurricane Matthew Update No. 4 – Resuming limited university operations

Now that the threat of Hurricane Matthew has passed for our area, having had no major impact on our community, we will be resuming limited university operations today:

• The libraries at MMC and BBC will open today at noon.
• The Wellness and Recreation Centers on both campuses will be open by noon.
• The Fresh Food Company, the library Starbucks and the Breezeway café at MMC will be open at noon today. Visit ShopFIU for more information.
• FIU@I-75 will be open on Saturday.

Normal university operations, including all classes and events will resume on Saturday morning.

Thank you for doing your part to prepare for Hurricane Matthew. Please remember that hurricane season runs through Nov. 30, so it is important to continue monitoring the news. We must always prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
