Students can attend FIU bowl game for as little as $20

For just $20, students can be part of FIU football history.

In partnership with Panorama Travel, the university is offering three student bowl game travel packages that make it easy for students to attend the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl on Thursday, Dec. 21, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The Butch Davis led Panthers will take on the Temple Owls at Tropicana Field in a nationally televised contest on ESPN. This will be the third bowl appearance in FIU history and the first since 2011.

The three student travel packages – ranging from $20 to $40 – include:

  • Game ticket (300 level, sideline corner or sideline)
  • Round trip deluxe coach bus transportation
  • Boxed lunch and snack pack
  • Panther Fan Tailgate ticket
  • Commemorative gift

Theses packages will only be available until Sunday, Dec. 17, at midnight. To purchase a student travel package, click here.

Students who want to purchase a game ticket are encouraged to purchase through FIU in order to sit together with other Panther fans. Click here to purchase game tickets only.

Students who attended the final home game against UMass have been reached separately with instructions on how to redeem their free Gasparilla Bowl ticket and how to travel with fellow students on the buses going up to St. Petersburg. The deadline to RSVP for their free ticket is today, Dec. 11, at 5 p.m. Students who have any questions should email jlamb@fiu.edu.

For more information about the Gasparilla Bowl and ticket information, go to Bowl Central or call 305-FIU-GAME.
