That’s it? Just like that, the shortest month of the year has come to a close.

February was filled with exciting events such as the annual Uproar concert and major accomplishments like the FIU swimming and diving team capturing their fourth straight conference title. The month also included heartbreak as Panthers came together to mourn the lives lost in the Majory Stoneman Douglas shooting on Valentine’s Day.

Before we move into March, take a moment to enjoy some of our favorite moments and images from February captured by FIU photographers.

You can call her the Burger Queen!  Psychology senior Angelic Cox created “The Jerk Man Burger” and won this year’s Red Robin Golden Robin contest, earning a $10,000 scholarship and a chance to be featured on the Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews menu in the next year. She even got to present her burger to  Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives star Guy Fieri at the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival!  Photo by Carl-Frederick Francois

SOBEWFF® can’t go on without the help of FIU students! Every year, more than 1,000 student volunteers work more than 3,000 shifts helping out with culinary prep, marketing, ticket sales, logistics and more.  Photo by Carl-Frederick Francois

I don’t know about that move, bro… Students had plenty to do as they waited for this year’s Uproar concert to begin, including a giant Jenga! Photo by Carl-Frederick Francois
