FIU Spring Game set for Friday, April 6

By Joel Delgado ’12, MS ’17

The Panthers will conclude their spring practice season with the annual FIU Football Spring Game at Riccardo Silva Stadium on Friday, April 6.

The Spring Game, which is an intrasquad game, kicks off at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. The game will give fans a first look at this year’s football team before they begin their quest for a repeat bowl appearance this fall.

There are a few big incentives for students to make their way to the stadium tomorrow night. The first 150 students in attendance will receive a free FIU ‘camo’ hat and all students that attend the Spring Game will receive one free guest ticket to the first home game of the 2018 season against Indiana on Sept. 1.

As part of the festivities, the Panthers will hold a special VIP event on the west end zone patio beginning at 6 p.m. for those who have purchased or renewed their FIU football season tickets by April 6.

The exclusive event will include free food and drinks, raffle items and more. If you haven’t already done so, now is the perfect time to renew or purchase your season tickets.

Season ticket plans start as low as $50, and a new addition to this season is the General Admission family plan, which will allow for two adults and three kids (17 & under) to attend all season long for just $200.
