“Every year, FIU plays a huge role in the production of the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, and every year I have the pleasure of attending the events and producing video content to promote it. This is probably one of my favorite things to cover because it really doesn’t feel like I’m working at all. Each event is fun and unique, and the food and drinks are always so amazingly delicious. I had the pleasure to interview celebrity chefs like Andrew Zimmern, which was so cool, and I got to interview student workers to piece together a video that tells the FIU story within such a huge production. The video itself inspires students to work and volunteer for the upcoming years and encourages people to attend the events, which ultimately supports our FIU School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.”
