Welcome to #BassDropUniversity

Summer Fest is proof FIU can throw a party! The annual, turbo-charged electronic music concert was held July 12 between the blue and gold garages at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

Hosted by Campus Life, Summer Fest is a one-of-a-kind student tradition that Panthers look forward to year-after-year. This summer was no exception.

Approximately 3,500 students and more than 1,200 guests danced non-stop to the high-energy beats of Slander, Joyryde and YOOKiE. Concert-goers were greeted with a customized stage as well as sparkler cannons and plenty of CO2 blasts.

If you missed the concert this year, be sure to put Summer Fest 2019 on your radar. Organizers have already started planning, and they promise it will be an amazing summer time experience you won’t soon forget.

The event is free for all currently enrolled FIU students and open to guests with the purchase of a ticket.
