Everything you need to get election-ready

Did you know early voting for the 2018 midterm elections starts this week? How about that FIU MMC is an early voting site?

If you are like most of the nations’ registered voters, you may need a bit of help getting informed before you cast your vote. At FIU, the Honors College and the Center for Leadership and Service have partnered with several non-partisan organizations to provide you with everything you need to know and have a bit of fun in the process! They have planned several informational events to get our Panthers to the Polls.

Monday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Party at the Polls: Stop by the Betty Chapman Plaza, outside the Graham Center for non-partisan voter guides, ballot information, pizza, Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream and a chance to win great giveaways.

During the conversation, students will voice their beliefs about our democratic system, its strengths and weaknesses and how to best ensure youth participation.
