Moment of silence to be held on March 15

This month marks one year since the Southwest 8th Street pedestrian bridge accident. To remember and honor the victims, the FIU community will come together to hold a moment of silence.

Please join us on Friday, March 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Betty Chapman Plaza at MMC. The FIU flag will be lowered to half-staff. Deacon Ralph Gazitua will lead the FIU community in a moment of silence at 1:47 p.m. and the GC bells will ring six times, once for each of the victims.
