Remembering 9/11

Eighteen years later, the university community gathered at the Graham Center Pit to remember the victims of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

"9/11 was one of the worst days in American history, yet it is a somber reminder that there are brave people[who] are willing to risk it all to help others," said Celia Pena-Gomez, a senior political science major and English minor in attendance. "While this is a tragic and sad day in our history that we must never forget, it is a true testament to the community and bravery of the American people and everything we represent."
