Summer Fest delivers surge of energy

Every summer, bass lovers in South Florida flood to Summer Fest—FIU’s electronic dance music concert.

Hosted by Campus Life, Summer Fest has become a summer tradition for both FIU students and guests. The concert features emerging DJs, high energy beats and impressive concert light shows. On Thursday, July 18, the largest crowd to date, more than 5,500 concert-goers, once again, took over the area between the blue and gold garage to revel in the music from this year’s lineup, which included Kayzo, 4B, Riot Ten and Crankdat.
