Coronavirus update: Most faculty and staff will continue to work remotely through May 30

In accordance with state and local guidelines, most FIU faculty and staff will continue to work remotely through May 30, 2020, unless circumstances dictate otherwise.

As previously announced, all summer classes (sessions A, B and C) will take place online and remotely. All on and off campus events have been canceled or are taking place in a virtual environment through July 1, 2020. Decisions regarding Fall 2020 will be made in the coming weeks.

A university-wide Campus Repopulating Taskforce has been created to establish the conditions for a phased approach to resume classes and work on FIU campuses. The health and safety of the community continues to be our top priority. Please look for updates on the work of the taskforce in the coming weeks.
