Super Bowl LIV, the 54th National Football League championship game will take place in Miami on Sunday, February 2, 2020.

FIU experts are available to discuss various topics surrounding the Super Bowl.

Sandy Skelaney
Faculty Administrator, Center for Women's and Gender Studies
Sandy Skelaney is a nationally recognized anti-trafficking expert whose expertise is in creating comprehensive multi-disciplinary systems to support and assist survivors of human trafficking and addressing the root causes of grave social problems through policy change. She organized victim outreach efforts for the last two Super Bowls hosted in Miami and can provide insight into what it looks like when there is an upswing in human trafficking during the event.
