Once again, FIU will serve as an early voting site, and early voting for the upcoming election begins today, Aug. 3. The polling site is at the Student Academic Success Center (SASC) Multipurpose Room at MMC.
Anyone registered to vote in Miami-Dade County – including FIU students, faculty and staff – can vote at this location. Spaces will be reserved in Lot 3, east of the SASC Building, for voter parking. We recommend accessing the lot using the Southwest 107 Avenue and 16 Street campus entrance (please see map below.)
Anyone coming to campus, including voters, must wear a face covering and adhere to physical distancing guidelines.
Please note the early voting schedule:
- Monday, August 3 – Friday, August 7, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, August 8 & Sunday, August 9, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, August 10 – Friday, August 14, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, August 15 & Sunday, August 16, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
