Move-in Day 2020 in photos

Students who are living on campus this Fall are getting settled in before classes begin next week. FIU News caught up with a few Panthers to find out what they are looking forward to in the new academic year. Photos by FIU photographer Margi Rentis.

Sophomore Helpphys Castro (right) transfered from a university in the Chicago area to study political science at FIU. "I'm looking forward to focusing on my classes and using the facilities on campus, like going to the library to study," Castro said.

Sophomore Nicole Lago (center) is a biological sciences major who is looking forward to beginning her Fall courses. "I'm more excited about upper level courses and getting used to online classes," Lago said.

Freshman Ryan Flynn, an environmental studies major, is excited to get involved at FIU. "What I'm looking forward to is being on the FIU swim team," Flynn said.

Junior Isabella Bodnar (second from right) is a transfer student from the Tampa area who is studying international business and marketing this Fall. "Miami and FIU are really cool. I'm excited to hopefully study abroad one day. And the FIU campus is so pretty," Bodnar said.

Senior Tea Green is a human resource management major who is excited just to be back on campus. "I've been dorming all three years, but I'm looking forward to having my own space and independence again."
