FIU launches first Belonging Survey

Dear FIU family,

Today, our FIU launches its first Belonging Survey. This tool will help our students, faculty, and staff share their experiences and provide feedback regarding our university’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. The Belonging Survey is one of the action items included in the Equity Action Initiative (EAI) I commissioned last summer to further equality, dignity, inclusion, and belonging on our campuses.

Every faculty, staff, and student will receive an email to their FIU email address with a direct link to the survey. You can also visit
go.fiu.edu/belongingsurvey to complete it. You must enter your email address to confirm you are a current faculty, staff, or student. This survey is anonymous and will be administered through a third-party partner, Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium, to ensure confidentiality.

At FIU, we are committed to ensuring an inclusive, engaging, and supportive environment for our students, faculty, and staff. Your participation is important. We ask that you take 15 minutes of your time to complete the survey before November 15.
