Kaseya®, a premier provider of unified IT management and security software for managed service providers (MSPs) and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced today that it has teamed up with Florida International University to create a workforce pipeline that trains students for jobs in technology and helps Kaseya fill multiple positions across the company.

Miami’s technology sector has grown exponentially over the last two years, leading to a massive demand for talent to fill vacant roles. Kaseya, a global company with its U.S. headquarters in Miami since 2004, hopes to hire for 400 roles in sales, R&D, customer and product support and finance.

“There is a national shortage of tech talent. We are working hard to counter South Florida’s brain drain and ensure Miami students are prepared for roles in the city’s fast-growing tech ecosystem,” said Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola. “Kaseya is committed to its hometown and looks forward to continuing its collaboration with FIU and government leaders to prepare the workforce coming online for tomorrow’s tech opportunities.”

As part of the partnership, Kaseya will advise on curriculum through active participation on college advisory boards to ensure both technological and soft skills are being incorporated. It also will provide mentorship on various senior capstone projects and offer insights from its leadership team to create co-branded credentialing programs with the university. Additionally, the Cyber Apprenticeship Program will prepare computer science students for jobs in customer support via hands-on training. As part of the collaboration, Kaseya also is actively supporting the FIU Sales Society and recruiting graduates for account management roles.

“This partnership with Kaseya demonstrates FIU's commitment to understanding the needs of industry and implementing programs that will ensure our students are prepared for meaningful careers,” said FIU Interim Provost, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Elizabeth Béjar. “We look forward to working with Kaseya and integrating what we have learned across the curriculum and within our career and talent development programs.”

To address the worker shortage, Kaseya also introduced the Grow Your Own program. The initiative cultivates talent by supporting new hires on their professional journeys with the company. Regardless of the career pathway – sales, customer support, research & development, finance or administrative – Kaseyans receive training and consistent guidance through educational programs, mentorship and leadership development. The company offers multiple opportunities for growth and promotes from within.

Every month, Kaseya hosts Hire-Palooza, an open house hiring event held at its Miami headquarters in Brickell. The next one is scheduled for April 19 and those interested can register here. To view Kaseya’s open jobs globally, click here.
