The following message was shared with the university community today.

At FIU, the wellbeing of our students, faculty and staff is our priority. We understand that recent developments may be impacting you. We want you to know that resources are available to help you.

Students who need any kind of support can reach out to Counseling and Psychological Services. Their number is 305-348-2277. Students can also learn more about the Dean of Students Office and other campus support services by visiting PanthersCare.fiu.edu.

Resources for faculty and staff are available through FIU’s Office of Employee Assistance at 305-348-2469 or via email at oea@fiu.edu.

As stated by FIU Board of Trustees Chair Dean Colson in a message to the FIU community on Sunday, FIU has strong personnel and workplace conduct policies, takes all workplace conduct seriously and remains committed to enforcing its policies thoroughly and swiftly. If you think you are aware of a situation that might concern workplace misconduct, you should contact the Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Accessibility (CRCA). You can also file either an online or telephone complaint using our Ethical Panther Hotline, which provides the option to remain anonymous.
