University operations back to normal on Sunday

June 4, 2022 at 6:43pm

Dear FIU family,

The tropical storm warning has been discontinued for all of South Florida. The flood watch currently in effect for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties will be lifted at 8 p.m. tonight.

All university operations will be back to normal on Sunday.

At BBC, the Glenn Hubert Library, the Wolfe University Center and the Wellness and Recreation Center will resume regular hours on Sunday.

Also, The Wolfsonian-FIU and the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU will reopen on Sunday.

Please take necessary precautions, look for downed powerlines and avoid driving through flooded roadways. If you see flooding or have access issues at any of our campuses, please report it to FIU Police at 305-348-2626.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and stay safe.
