June 13 update: Biscayne Bay Campus will reopen at 1 p.m. today

The following message was shared with the university community at approximately 12:22 this afternoon.

Some of the flooding has receded on Northeast 151st Street and the Biscayne Bay Campus will reopen at 1 p.m. today.  

Additional rain is in the forecast. Please continue to take necessary precautions, look for downed powerlines and avoid driving through flooded roadways. Also, please monitor local media for updates throughout the next few days.

We ask that professors and supervisors exercise flexibility with students, faculty and staff who may be impacted by the weather.

The following message was shared with the university community this morning.

FIU at I-75 is now open and will resume normal operations today. Operations remain normal at MMC and the Engineering Center.  

BBC remains closed this morning due to flooding on Northeast 151st Street. The expectation is that the campus will reopen around noon today. Please stay alert to an announcement regarding exactly when BBC operations will resume.

Additional rain is in the forecast today. Please take necessary precautions, look for downed powerlines and avoid driving through flooded roadways. Also, please monitor local media for updates throughout the next few days.
