Gisela Maria Valencia

Gisela Maria Valencia is a senior writer at Florida International University's Division of Marketing and Strategic Communications, where she writes stories for FIU News. Her 2020 story exploring how vitamins can boost the immune system is the most viewed story on FIU News in the website's history, receiving nearly 800,000 views to date. She also serves on the executive board of the university’s Center for Community Impact and Public Purpose, which facilitates meaningful community engagement opportunities for faculty, students and staff.
