FIU graduates more than 3,900 in six ceremonies
Umbrellas lined the way to the U.S. Century Bank Arena April 26 for the first ceremony of FIU’s Spring Commencement. But the pouring rain did not dampen the spirits of soon-to-graduates. Inside, the honorees blasted confetti every chance they had; parents, abuelos and loved ones cheered; many offered inspiring words; and degrees were conferred.

As a proud FIU alum, watching this brought back very fond and wonderful memories. It truly captured the moment. Congrats to the class of 2011!! Make us all proud.
