It's FIU Research Week on Academic Minute. From Monday, Aug. 7 — Friday, Aug. 11, FIU experts will be talking about their latest work and discoveries on the public radio show and podcast available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Min Chen, associate professor of information systems and business analytics at FIU Business, explains the research behind a machine-learning algorithm that can more quickly diagnose stroke patients before the results of laboratory tests or diagnostic images are available.
