FIU Business online master’s program ranked in nation’s Top 10 and No. 1 in Florida by U.S. News & World Report
The online business master’s and online MBA programs in FIU's College of Business (FIU Business) have been ranked among the best in the United States by U.S. News & World Report in its 2024 rankings released Feb. 7. FIU’s online business master’s program is ranked No. 9, up from No. 21 in 2023, and the top ranked program in Florida. FIU joins programs in the top 10 that include those at Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Southern California, Arizona State University and Boston University. The FIU Business online MBA program is ranked No. 29, up from No. 44 in 2023.
“FIU Business was a pioneer in online business education, having launched online programs more than 20 years ago,” said William Hardin, dean of FIU Business. “Our reputation for offering first rate online programs at an affordable cost has grown significantly since then, resulting in top national rankings as we see with this latest U.S. News report.”
FIU Business now offers eight online specialized master’s programs including those in accounting, finance, international business, health informatics and analytics, human resource management, international real estate, marketing, and logistics and supply chain management. It also offers a fully online MBA program and a fully online Healthcare MBA program. Six Bachelor in Business Administration majors are offered online, including those in finance, human resource management, international business, logistics and supply chain management, management and marketing.
Other FIU programs that went up in the ranks were the overall online bachelor’s, which went from No. 60 to No. 32, and online education, which went up from No. 43 to No. 35.
